As I mentioned in my previous post I don’t really read books before and I am proud to say that this is “The Book” that changed something in me towards reading books. Though it was my second book that i ever read outside of my study books. I never thought that reading book could be this entertaining and pleasurable. To be honest, I didn't buy this book because someone recommended it to me or heard about it in a post that how great this book is. Actually, this book is written by my batch mate. In college, I found him optimistic and a guy who has clear thought of what he wanted in his life. Though we all were pursuing Computer Science Engineering but his attitude and thoughts sounded more like a revolutionary guy and would enter politics but a writer was no way near the horizon.

So, enough with the background and lets reveal the book that made me interested in books, The Lucky Guy”.

Things that many of the teens face

This is not just another novel like a love story or crime thriller. It’s the instances or the events of every person that they face/faced/or will face in their life.

This book is actually a journey of guy who is in class 12 and about to enter college the next year. It showcases the school time friends, his love interest getting admissions in an engineering college in a big city. Its shows lovely hostel life, seeing a girl that really takes his feet away, challenges in getting together.etc

It showcases how your life changes when you move from school to college, college to work life and so on. It showcases the dedication of the guy who remained optimistic about life and never gave up on what he wanted and fought hard for it. It’s not just a story of ones imagination, there are scenes described in the book that I actually did with my friends in college.

It’s not just a story its the collection of pieces that many is would have lived in our lives. Each and every character in the book is like that I know this guy and why is that because thats totally me and this story resembles either you or some you know and have spent some of the best and memorable days of your life.

This is something that I read at the back cover of this book “This book holds a mirror to modern-day Indian society, yet steeped in age-old traditions. Shreyansh Ojha’s debut novel promises the story of a lifetime that is guaranteed to keep you turning the pages”.

At first, I thought were just some lines written by a good marketeer to increase the sales of the book, but once I started reading this book I was in awe by the similarities it had with our lives and was amazed and both proud at my friend that he really did a great job with his first book. Really congratulations man on this one and many more to come.
